Since retirement, our house has been a major focus. We have:
relandscaped the front yard, and a portion of the backyard
built a custom fence on the property line to expand our backyard
remodeled and painted the front of the house
remodeled the living room by adding woodwork to the bay window, built a fireplace mantle, faced the brick fireplace with granite, and built cabinets on each side of the fireplace.
remodeled the kitchen, family, dining room, three bathrooms, and four bedrooms
We do most of the work ourselves but for the front of the house we hired a contractor to help us with the siding and painting. We use a designer to assist us in making decisions regarding architecture, trim, colors, and fixtures. Our designer, Stan Royer has helped us with overall house design, kitchen and bathroom designs, and landscaping.

We have just completed a major remodel of the front of our house. We used Xteria Roofing and Remodeling of San Jose. We are very happy with the results of our project.
